The U.S.–Korea Business Initiative (formerly the U.S.–Korea Business Institute) was established in February 1986 and formally launched at San Francisco State University in December 1989 to support its mission and activities.
Since then, the Initiative has promoted applied research, academic collaboration, and industry engagement focused on economic and business relations between the United States and the Republic of Korea.
The Initiative supports faculty and student scholarship, professional education, and cross-border partnerships that advance SFSU’s mission of global engagement and community impact.
