Vision: The Economics Department vision is to be a quality academic department that provides best possible education to our undergraduate and graduate students, trains student scholars and fosters original intellectual growth through research.

Mission: Our mission is to prepare our students, through high quality teaching and research, to be engaged and informed citizens, and to contribute productively in their careers using knowledge learned during their study of Economics.

Degrees offered: The Economics Department offers a B.A. in Economics, an M.A. in Economics, and a Minor in Economics.

Economics students are required to complete mandatory advising with an assigned faculty advisor during the Fall semester. It is recommended to keep in touch with the same assigned advisor during the Spring sememster.
