The Lam Family College of Business has the ability to help business partners develop custom executive education programs for their employees. As employees begin to seek new opportunities for advancement, the Lam Family College of Business can set up a leadership program for those students. Or, if employees are planning to make a lateral move to a different function like finance or accounting, the Lam Family College of Business can work with those employees to tailor a program that fits their needs. Ethics & Compliance
With the development and support of Associate Professor of Management Denise Kleinrichert, Ph.D., and Professor of Management Sally Baack, Ph.D., the Lam Family College of Business launched the Business Certificate in Ethics & Compliance and the MBA Emphasis in Ethics & Compliance in fall 2015. The business certificate is a unique program that responds to management and business needs for ethics and compliance professionals in growth industries such as healthcare, biotech, pharmaceutical, information technology services and products, finance and accounting, manufacturing and hospitality. The certificate provides graduate students with the advantage of enhancing their degree with this specialized academic training and equips them with a competitive edge in the workplace. This is the 5th year San Francisco State University Lam Family College of Business has held its Women’s Emerging Leadership Forum. This popular event provides women leaders an opportunity to come together, expand their network, and learn meaningful ways to enhance their leadership skills by sharing knowledge, insights, and professional experiences. We’re excited to announce the keynote speaker for 2018 will be Caretha Coleman, a principal of Coleman Consulting and former chairwoman of the board at Dignity Health, a $14 billion healthcare system headquartered in San Francisco.
