An expert in the semiconductor industry, Roeder primarily works in the field of discrete-event computer simulation, focusing on researching alternate approaches to simulation that would reduce the run and development times. “I am pleased to welcome Professor Roeder to the INFORMS board of directors. I’m excited about the opportunity to work with her as we strive to maintain INFORMS as the premier association for decision and data sciences,” said Elena Gerstmann, INFORMS executive director.
