San Francisco State Business Students Win 2025 International Wood Supply Game Competition
The Lam Family College of Business (LFCoB) proudly celebrates the victory of our Logistics Legends student team for winning the online 2025 International Wood Supply Game (WSG) Competition for the second year in a row! The members of the Logistics Legends team are pictured below:

Hours of strategic thinking brought together 21 teams from 15 universities across nine countries, all demonstrating their proficiency in managing wood supply chains. The Logistics Legends emerged as champions, showcasing exceptional knowledge and strategic acumen. The SFSU team achieved a hard-earned victory slightly surpassing their competitors from SLU in Sweden and KEDGE in France, who won second and third places, respectively.
This year, the game featured an especially difficult scenario. Christoph Kogler, co-organizer of the WSG Competition, stated, “This year I designed a very tricky scenario, which was even more challenging than the ones I build before.” Despite the complexity of the task, The Logistics Legends team, consisting of Giovanni Lopez ,Qilan Huang, Jose Tanglaw F. Yamsuan, and Eduardo Rodriguez, demonstrated their strong knowledge and strategic thinking, earning them first place in the competition.
