Professor Theresa Hammond Named Distinguished Alumna by Wisconsin School of Business Accounting Department

In fall 2021, Accounting Professor Theresa Hammond was recognized by her alma mater, the Wisconsin School of Business, University of Wisconsin-Madison, as the Department of Accounting and Information Systems’ Distinguished Alumna, for her groundbreaking research on underrepresented minorities in the accounting profession.

Referring to Hammond, Mark Covaleski, the Richard J. Johnson Chair of the Department of Accounting and Information Systems at the Wisconsin School of Business and Hammond’s dissertation chair, said, “Her passion is tremendous. That’s why she's a great teacher and that carries over into her research.”
