Professor and Chair of Labor and Employment Studies John Logan discussed the need to change the way how labor unions organize their movements.

Logan states that unions need to escalate their organizing efforts. "You can't really organize yourself out of that kind of hole on a workplace-by-workplace basis," he says. "To stand in the same place, unions have to be recruiting several hundred thousand new members per year."
