Professor John Logan Quoted in Major News Outlets on Labor Organizing and Other Labor Issues

Department Chair and Professor of Labor and Employment Studies John Logan shared his perspective on workers’ concerns in several news stories published by major news organizations.
For example, Logan was quoted in an article in Fast Company about standing cashiers at supermarkets in the U.S., which is unlike European seating cashiers. Logan thinks the reason behind standing cashiers in the U.S. is a matter of power. "It’s about maintaining unilateral control of the workplace and having the flexibility to do whatever the heck you want," he said.
