Finance and Accounting Student Appointed Regional Alumni Representative for Beta Alpha Psi
Undergraduate senior Chad Kelsey was appointed Regional Alumni Representative for Beta Alpha Psi, the honor society for accounting, finance, and information systems.
Chad Kelsey's one-year term representing the Western and Rocky Mountain regions will commence in August 2021, after he graduates with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a double major in finance and accounting.
Kelsey has been Chapter President of Beta Alpha Psi/Beta Chi chapter since Fall 2019, and after ending his third term, he will become SF State's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Site Coordinator. In addition, after completing an internship at PricewaterhouseCoopers this past summer, he was offered a permanent position that starts in fall 2021.
"Without the resources provided by the school, Beta Alpha Psi, the professors, and my family, my educational journey would have been a different story," stated Kelsey. "I believe actively engaging all stakeholders in my education has elevated myself academically and professionally, resulting in my ability to achieve both personal and professional goals in financial information," he added.
