DATE Tuesday, May 19, 2026
SCHEDULE 4:00pm: Graduates arrive and rehearse
4:30pm: Doors open to family and friends
5:30pm: Graduation Recognition
LOCATION Gymnasium: San Francisco Federal Credit Union Gym
San Francisco State University GYM 100
ATTIRE While this is a semi-formal event, Academic Regalia is preferred
TICKETS Graduates: $20.00 each; comes with 2 FREE guest tickets
Dates to Remember
April 21, 2026 - May 1, 2026: Graduate Registration
$20.00 to reserve your spot as a graduating student. This includes TWO (2) FREE guest tickets.
If you choose not to avail the two free tickets during this time, you will lose these free tickets. You will have to purchase the tickets separately, so make sure to get them during this registration period.
May 4, 2026 - May 11, 2026 (if tickets remain): Guest ticket sales open
- Max of 4 guest tickets per graduate at $10.00 per ticket
- Graduate Registration ends on May 11, 2026
After May 11, 2026 (depending on availability): All remaining tickets will be available for purchase
- No purchase limit
- $10.00 per ticket
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, your name will be called on the stage. Historically, we have provided each student with a dedicated slide featuring their name, major, photo, and a short message displayed as they walk across the stage. We will do our best to offer this again this year; however, at minimum, every graduate present will have their name announced during the ceremony.
No. If you choose not to get the two free tickets during registration (when you reserve your spot), you will lose them. You will have to purchase the tickets separately, so make sure to get them during this registration period.
To ensure every graduating student has the opportunity to register and bring their two guests, the guest ticket limit will not be lifted until May 11, 2026. You may purchase up to four (4) additional guest tickets between May 4 and May 11, depending on availability.
PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REGISTER YOURSELF MORE THAN ONCE TO OBTAIN ADDITIONAL TICKETS.
We will strictly enforce all dates and ticket limits. Any attempts to bypass the system will result in cancellation of the excess tickets without refund, and those tickets will not be honored.
AGAIN, WE WILL NOT BE REFUNDING ANY MALICIOUS ATTEMPTS AT BYPASSING THE SYSTEM.
