From Campus to Impact: An Alumna’s Career in Sustainable Food Supply Chains
Overview
This event is part of 2026 Business Ethics Week organized by the Center for Ethical and Sustainable Business!
Supply chain management is rarely straightforward, but in the world of food, it becomes even more complex. Unpredictable agricultural conditions and the perishable nature of ingredients create constant pressure to adapt, optimize, and innovate.
In this interactive session, explore Katrina Parker’s (MBA' 12) journey from her MBA at San Francisco State University to tackling real-world supply chain challenges at Clif Bar Inc., a sustainability-driven local brand, and now at Mondelez International, a global leader in the snack industry.
Discover how she navigates the challenge of translating complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders, while striking a careful balance between cost, supply stability, and a commitment to sustainability.
