Katie Morgenroth
Head of Sustainable Design, Google
Katie Morgenroth leads sustainable design at Google, developing projects and products that champion environmentally conscious opportunities. She collaborates with diverse teams to embed sustainability into the earliest stages of design, extending product life, reducing carbon footprints, minimizing waste, and integrating circular materials.
Katie previously led the Google Home Industrial Design Team, launching iconic products such as Google Nest Mini, Nest Audio, WiFi Pro E and Chromecast with Google TV, all designed and developed with sustainability in mind.
Katie holds a BFA in Industrial Design (University of Illinois), a Masters in Product Design and Development (Northwestern University), and is pursuing a Professional Certificate in Sustainability Leadership from MIT. A lifelong learner, she seeks innovative ways to design a better world.
