Anayele Sanchez, Master of Science in Accountancy

Yarnold Family Scholarship recipient

For Anayele Sanchez, pursuing a Master of Science in Accountancy at San Francisco State University is more than an academic milestone. It’s a pathway to leadership and opportunity. A graduate student and recipient of the Yarnold Family Scholarship, Anayele is building the technical expertise needed to achieve her goal of becoming a Director of Finance. While balancing the demands of work and family, she continues to excel in rigorous coursework and seeks hands-on experience with her employer, Bonneville International, to deepen her understanding of real-world accounting and financial strategy.

Anayele’s journey is one of perseverance and purpose. After immigrating from Mexico more than two decades ago, she has steadily advanced her education and career—from earning multiple degrees and certificates to growing into a leadership role in sales administration. Inspired by a transformative experience collaborating with a Director of Finance, she is now charting a new professional path. As a mother of two, she is motivated not only by her own aspirations, but by the example she sets for her children and her commitment to creating a brighter future for her family. As Anayele shares, “This scholarship is not just about financial support—it’s a reminder that there are people who believe in me and my dreams.”

Support from the Yarnold Family Scholarship is helping make that future possible. By easing financial pressures, the scholarship allows Anayele to focus more fully on her studies, professional growth, and family responsibilities. Just as importantly, it serves as a powerful source of encouragement—fueling her determination to succeed, give back, and create lasting impact for her family and community.Alfred Cebellos - B.S. in Business Administration, with a concentration in Information Systems
