  • Join us for the 2026 SFSU VITA Recognition Ceremony: Advancing Ethical Leadership in Service, with keynote remarks by Mr. Okorie Ramsey (B.S., '92), Vice President of Sarbanes/Oxley (SOX) at Kaiser Permanente, who will share his insights on the central role that values play in building a successful and rewarding career.

Online event: Corporate Sustainability is a Scam. How Can We Do Better?

  • Guest Speaker: Auden Schendler, Author of Terrible Beauty, Reckoning with Climate Complicity and Rediscovering Our Soul
  • Auden Schendler, who spent over 25 years running sustainability programs at Aspen Skiing Company/Aspen ONE, will discuss why he has come to believe that corporate sustainability efforts are largely ineffective gestures that perpetuate a "status quo" beneficial to the fossil fuel industry. Rather, corporations should use their political influence to promote sound climate policies, not just focus on reducing their own carbon footprints.

In-person event: 2026 Climate HQ Film Fest

  • Join us for the 2fourth annual ClimateHQ's FilmFest. We will screen two short films, “Ndjimu (Deep Cobalt)” directed by Congolese filmmaker and activist Petna Ndaliko Katondolo and “In the Maritime Frequencies” directed by School of Cinema professor Greta Snider. Additionally, student projects produced by the Climate HQ Storytellers Fellows will also be featured.
