Position Description:
The HRIS Analyst provides support in the design, development, enhancement, implementation, maintenance, and support of enterprise HR technology. You will drive operational excellence for the HR technology platforms and related enterprise applications. The main responsibility of an HRIS analyst is to maintain and support HR solutions enabling global HR processes for compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, performance management, learning, and personnel administration. You’ll serve as the Agile product owner, or technical point of contact, and subject matter expert for People system and process design, testing, and data flow.
The HRIS Analyst performs data loads, tests changes, supports audits, recommends process and system improvements, and produces end-user documentation for Palo Alto Networks’ HR systems to drive accurate and timely management of our talent and positive employee experience. You have knowledge of HR technology and experience providing day-to-day support for outsourced and/or hosted solutions.
Position Responsibilities:
- Work together with HR partners to define processes and technology that address current and future needs
- Maintain and support HR applications and systems (compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, performance management, learning management (LMS), and personnel administration)
- Assist in the evaluation, analysis, design, and maintenance of on-premise, hosted, outsourced, and cloud-based HR technology solutions
- Assist in documenting HR and business requirements and evaluating HR technology solutions
- Maintains and updates HR master data and team member data for large projects and significant system changes
- Coordinate and assist in the testing and implementation of all system changes and implementation of new functionality and/or systems
- Document standard processes and procedures; create and deploy user documentation and guides for HR resources, leaders, and team members
- Train HR users on HR technology
- Identify areas for improvement in HR or related systems and processes
- Evaluate new system functionality/trends to support long term human resources business goals
- Manage and provide day to day support for outsourced solutions with third-party vendors
Required Qualifications:
- Completing a BS/MS/Ph.D. degree in Business Management, Information Systems, or Human Resources, or equivalent related experience
- Experience working with HR tools
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate with various management levels and evaluate alternative business solutions
- Customer service orientation and ability to maintain a professional behavior
- Competent in business insight and exposure to HR technology software
- Analytical and problem-solving skills; Ability to collect and analyze data, and present findings to support recommended solutions and decisions
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Dedicatedly recognize opportunities to increase process/system efficiencies, customer satisfaction, and overall business improvement
