Established in 2018, the Emerging and Developing Economies Initiative (EDEI) of the Lam Family College of Business at San Francisco State University is supported by the Lam-Larsen Fund for Global Innovation.
The mission of this initiative is to advance research and teaching on the contemporary issues faced by emerging and developing economies and educate SF State community on the critical issues in emerging and developing economies through:
- Develop experience-based education programs that provide students and affiliates of SF State with strong exposure to business insights and competence in the context of emerging and developing economies
- Develop teaching materials centered around issues faced by emerging and developing economies
- Promote research that addresses the problems and issues faced by the emerging and developing economies
- Engage thought leaders in academia and industries
Global Business and Society Fellows Program
