Keynote Speakers:
Orlando Montalvo is a Senior Portfolio Manager on the Derivatives and Digital Assets Portfolio Management team within BlackRock’s Global Markets & Index Investments (BGM) group. In this capacity, he is responsible for managing and overseeing a diverse range of investment strategies and financial products, including currency-hedged, commodity, and cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds (ETFs). His work focuses on portfolio construction, risk management, and the efficient implementation of index-based and derivative-driven investment solutions across global markets.
Maria Valdehueza is in her 16th season with the Golden State organization, her first with the Valkyries as senior vice president, ticketing and events. In this role, she is responsible for all aspects of the team’s ticketing efforts, including strategic planning and execution surrounding season tickets, group sales, single game initiatives and
customer service, as well as event strategy and planning for the Valkyries. Additionally, Valdehueza oversees Chase Center box office operations for all events.
Prior to joining the Valkyries, Valdehueza spent three seasons as vice president, ticketing for the Golden State Warriors. In that role, she is managed the team’s group sales and single-game ticket sales efforts for Golden State Warriors basketball games and all Chase Center events. Valdehueza played an integral role in maintaining the organization’s over-500-game sellout streak, held since December
2012.
Prior to the 2020-21 season, Valdehueza was responsible for the development and execution of the team’s Dub Hub, a virtual fan program used during the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to her duties as Vice President, Ticketing, Valdehueza has served as a member of the inaugural Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council since 2017, was a director-level sponsor of the Working Parents Employee Resource Group, and now serves as the executive-level sponsor of the Women of the Warriors Employee Resource Group.
Valdehueza joined the Warriors as a sales intern in 2007 before joining the team full-time as a Group Sales Account Executive in 2009. Throughout her tenure with the Warriors, she has also served in various roles on the Group Sales team before being promoted to Vice President, Ticketing.
