Overview

Join us virtually on October 30, 2024, at noon for a workshop on Understanding the Differences of Generative AI Models: A Comparative Study of OpenAI Models with guest presenter Neetan Narayan. This event is hosted by the Lam-Larsen Emerging Technologies Initiative at the Lam Family College of Business.

The objective of this workshop is to explore and understand how different generative AI models, specifically those developed by OpenAI, produce varying end results when given identical prompts. Participants will gain insights into the underlying architecture of generative AI, observe the evolution of these models from 2020 to 2024, and critically analyze the differences in model behavior when tasked with summarizing and analyzing articles

All SF State faculty, staff and students are welcome to participate.

This event will be held at San Francisco State University, Library, Room 280, 1600 Holloway Avenue, San Francisco.
