AI Prompt Engineering for Business Applications (Faculty Corner)
Overview
Join us virtually on Friday, October 25, 2024, at noon for the Faculty Corner: AI Prompt Engineering for Business Applications, with presenter Sam Gill, Professor Emeritus of Information Systems from our college. This event is hosted by the Lam-Larsen Emerging Technologies Initiative at the Lam Family College of Business.
This presentation covers essential concepts and techniques for creating effective prompts in generative AI models. The way we write our prompts to a Large Language Model (LLM) matters. A carefully crafted prompt can achieve a better quality of response. In this presentation, Professor Emeritus Gill will go from trying out various prompts to understanding why one prompt is better than another. He will also present how to construct prompts following some advanced prompting techniques that can be applied to any LLM.
All SF State faculty, staff and students are welcome to participate.
