The association's story began when a group of marketing students at SF State saw the need for an organization to help students connect with the marketing and advertising industry.  Since then, MA has grown to become one of the largest, most active and exciting student organizations on campus.

What makes MA so unique? For starters, their focus is on hands-on learning and collaboration. They believe working together on real-world marketing projects is the best way for students to develop practical skills and gain experience that will benefit them in their future careers.

Additionally, they offer a variety of workshops, speaker events, and networking opportunities that provide students with invaluable insights and connections within the industry.

MA's mission is to provide its members with real-life lessons from seasoned professionals and connections with potential employers to keep them ahead of the game and give them an advantage in their professional careers.

So, if you're an SF State student who is passionate about marketing and want to join a community of like-minded individuals, go check out MA! Students from all majors and backgrounds are welcome, so don't be shy - join the organization now!

Delta Sigma Pi

In 1907, four business majors at New York University saw an opportunity to impact the lives of their fellow students. At the time, the best business school organization on campus was not open to many students, and these four enterprising undergraduates determined to start an inclusive fraternity for business majors—an organization that became Delta Sigma Pi.

In the latter part of the 20th century, Delta Sigma Pi saw the increasing role of women in the business world as a valuable social change. In 1975, Delta Sigma Pi officially became the nation's first co-ed business fraternity—a clear reflection of the heritage of inclusion on which Delta Sigma Pi was founded. Their fraternity welcomes business majors of all backgrounds, regardless of race, gender, lifestyle, or creed, and Delta Sigma Pi is well known as an incredibly diverse organization.

Delta Sigma Pi continues to innovate, always growing in how they serve their members, their communities, and the business world. As the nation's foremost fraternity for business majors and professionals, they partner with their members for life, building the relationships, skills, and ideals necessary for them to make a significant impact wherever life leads them.
