Scholarships

Department of Economics offers four scholarships to our continuing undergraduate and graduate students: George Feliz Memorial Scholarship in Economics, Don Scoble Scholarship in Economics, Ramona K First Scholarship Endowment in Economics, and Ramona K First Scholarship Award.

This scholarship is available for a continuing graduate student in Economics. In accordance with the donor's wishes, preference will be given to a student who has a research interest related to the San Francisco Bay Area. However, all eligible students are strongly encouraged to apply. For more details and to apply, please visit the Don Scoble Scholarship page on Academic Works.

We are delighted to announce that the 2020-21 Don W. Scoble Endowment Scholarship recipient is Jeffrey Kenney.

This scholarship is available for a continuing undergraduate or graduate student in Economics. In accordance with the donor's wishes, preference will be given to single parents. However, all eligible students are strongly encouraged to apply. The George Feliz Memorial Scholarship will be offered again in Spring 2023.

We are delighted to announce that the 2020-21 George Feliz Memorial Scholarship recipients are Justin Chau, Qianyi Li, Matthew Peterson, and Matthew Charles Sy.

This new scholarship was set up to help an undergraduate or graduate student in Economics carry out any educational activities or professional related experience while attending San Francisco State University. We are delighted to announce that the 2020-21 Ramona K First Endowed Scholarship recipients are Adam Young, Jason Deutch, Justin Ong and Didrik Lindberg.

Hong Kong Association of Northern California Scholarship

Ethics & Compliance Certificate Scholarship

Three Ethics & Compliance Certificate scholarships of up to $3,000 each have been granted through the generous support of Kaiser Permanente towards unreimbursed tuition for postgraduate, graduate, MBA, M.S. in Accountancy and MPA students at San Francisco State University. For full eligibility requirements, click here.

Longmore Institute on Disability & Anthem Blue Cross Scholarship

New scholarship open for SFSU students with disabilities who are seeking a career in healthcare! Application open until April 22nd, 2022. Amounts vary between $6,500-$20,000. For more information and to apply, find the scholarship on sfsu.academicworks.com.
