Scholarships

The Department of Economics offers four scholarships to our continuing undergraduate and graduate students:

  • Don Scoble Scholarship in Economics
  • George Feliz Memorial Scholarship in Economics
  • Ramona K First Scholarship Endowment in Economics
  • Ramona K First Scholarship Award

This scholarship is available for a continuing graduate student in Economics. In accordance with the donor's wishes, preference will be given to a student who has a research interest related to the San Francisco Bay Area. However, all eligible students are strongly encouraged to apply.

We are delighted to announce that the 2022-23 Don W. Scoble Endowment Scholarship recipient is Tannaz Haghi.

This scholarship is available for a continuing undergraduate or graduate student in Economics. In accordance with the donor's wishes, preference will be given to single parents. However, all eligible students are strongly encouraged to apply.

We are delighted to announce that the 2022-23 George Feliz Memorial Scholarship recipients are Erim Fidan and DaNia Stevenson.

This new scholarship was set up to help an undergraduate or graduate student in Economics carry out any educational activities or professional related experience while attending San Francisco State University. 

The Ramona K First Scholarship Endowment in Economics will be offered again in Fall 2024.

We are delighted to announce that the 2023-24 Ramona K First Endowed Scholarship recipients are Kelly Dam, Christiana Ebeyer, Jeremy Martin, and Raul Pantoja II.

This award is given annually to a continuing undergraduate and graduate students with pressing financial need.

The Ramona K First Scholarship Award will be offered again in Fall 2024.
