Peter Vinella
Managing Director, PVA Toucan LLC
Peter U. Vinella, Ph.D., has nearly 40 years of experience in the financial industry as a consultant and as a senior executive with leading financial institutions. As Managing Director PVA Toucan LLC, he provides advisory services to financial services companies, financial institutions, and government agencies. His areas of expertise include trading and investment management, risk management, quantitative analyses, operations, trading and investment-related accounting, technology (including software development), trust administration, fund administration, mathematics, probability, and statistics.
Vinella has extensive experience testifying as an expert for both plaintiff and defendant in more than fifty engagements including arbitration hearings, trials, and depositions. Prior to his work in litigation support and dispute resolution, Vinella was a founder, co-owner, and CEO of Wilmington Trust Conduit Services (WTCS), as well as founder and CEO of PVA International/Toucan Partners, a New York-based consultancy focused on capital markets and risk management.
Peter Vinella received his PhD in Mathematics at U.C. Berkeley in 2021.
Jeanette Jin
Managing Director, PVA Toucan LLC
Jeanette Jin, Ph.D., is a Managing Director of PVA Toucan International, LLC, a consulting firm based in the San Francisco-East Bay in California, providing consulting and litigation services to top-tier financial services companies worldwide. She has extensive experience providing consulting services to large financial institutions in business restructuring, operational improvement, statistical analysis, trading strategy, and modeling, implementing new business platforms, and performing M&A due diligence.
Earlier, Jin was co-founder and chief operating officer of Wilmington Trust Conduit Services (“WTCS”), an affiliate of Wilmington Trust Company, a nationally chartered bank which provided a broad suit of services to issuers and managers of and investors in complex financial products. Prior to that, she was CEO of Toucan Partners and President of PVA International, two consultancy firms based in New York, providing business and technology solutions in the areas of capital markets and risk management to major global financial institutions.
Jeanette Jin received her Ph.D. in finance from Drexel University in 1995, specializing in econometrics and time series analysis.
