The Economics Department offers a B.A. and M.A. in Economics. We are a medium-sized department with approximately 12 full time faculty members. We strive for excellence in teaching and also have a wide variety of research interests in various applied fields in economics.

Economics Department Graduation Celebration 2016: The Department of Economics invites all graduating Economics Undergraduate and Graduate Students and their families, Faculty and staff to a dinner reception [pdf]. Date and time: Thursday, May 26, 6:00 – 10:00pm, The Irish Cultural Center, 2700 45th Avenue, San Francisco. RSVP by May 13 and purchase dinner ticket(s) online at UCORP e-Market website, or in person at HSS 142. Cost: $40 per person / $20 for 3-10 years old.
