Congratulations to San Francisco State University Hospitality and Tourism Management students who received Hotel and Restaurant Foundation (HARF) scholarships on November 8 2018, at the St. Regis San Francisco.
Three Hospitality and Tourism Management students, Mohamed Firas Meheisen, Samantha Perez and Jessica Nunez, each received a scholarship award after an extensive and competitive review process. It is noted that Firas, Jessica and Samantha are impressive representatives of San Francisco State.
In addition, every year the HARF Foundation recognizes one outstanding scholarship recipient with a special award titled the Hilda Watson Gifford award, which includes additional scholarship funds. Mohamed Firas Meheisen was selected to receive this honor this year, out of 40 students honored last night!
