San Francisco State University Beta Chi Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi Recognized with Superior Status for 2020–2021

The Board of Directors of Beta Alpha Psi, the International Honor Organization of Financial Information Students and Professionals, recognized retired Accounting lecturer faculty Kristine Caratan, M.N.A., Assistant Professor of Finance Snow Han, Ph.D., and the students who make up the Beta Chi Chapter at San Francisco State for their outstanding efforts during the 2020–2021 academic year. The Beta Chi Chapter received Superior Chapter status and a $500 award sponsored by KPMG and the KPMG Foundation. A letter from Scott McQuillan, 2020-2021 President of Beta Alpha Psi, stated, “under the leadership of Kristine Caratan and Snow Han, the Beta Chi Chapter has far exceeded the baseline requirements of Beta Alpha Psi and has excelled in the areas of academics, professionalism, and leadership. As Faculty Advisors for the chapter, Professors Caratan and Han have provided an invaluable service to your academic institution.”.
