Professor and Director of Labor and Employment Studies published in the Work Organisation, Labor & Globalisation journal

Professor and Director of Labor and Employment Studies John Logan's article, "The new union avoidance internationalism," was published in the Work Organisation, Labor & Globalisation journal.

Logan's article focuses on the widening of the United States' representation gap, noting that the US is the only wealthy democracy allowing the development of an anti-union industry. Throughout the article, he analyzes the global union avoidance actions of the two largest firms of their kind: Litter Mendelson and Ogletree Deakins. Logan argues that these firms attack labor organizations and undermine labor rights, making it too difficult for unions to organize in the private sector.
