Professor of Information Systems Robert Nickerson has been named a Distinguished Member - Cum Laude of the Association for Information Systems (AIS).
AIS is the premier professional association for Information Systems academics, composed of about 4800 members internationally.
The Distinguished Member - Cum Laude award honors AIS members who have made a significant impact on the organization through ten or more years of membership, serving in a leadership role, and being published in four or more journals. Professor Nickerson has served in various roles with and made many contributions to AIS over the past several years.
