Professor Leigh Jin Interviewed on All About Blockchain Podcast

Information Systems Professor Leigh Jin discussed the use of blockchain by San Francisco State University students on Ripple's University Blockchain Research Initiative (UBRI) podcast.

On October 5, 2021, Leigh Jin, Ph.D., professor of Information Systems and director of the Lam-Larsen Technology in Business Education Initiative, participated in the 'All About Blockchain' podcast hosted by Ripple's University Blockchain Research Initiative (UBRI). Jin discussed how San Francisco State students used blockchain to aid non-profit organizations. She described how an interdisciplinary team of students are tackling real world problems using technology. The team included graduate students who are enrolled in our MBA program and undergraduate students majoring in Finance, Decision Sciences, and Information Systems. "These solutions are really valuable," says Jin. "I'm very confident it could be developed into a very practical solution that can solve real problems."
 
Jin also reflected on the importance of engaging students with blockchain through participation in the SUGAR Network and SAP University Alliances program.
