Professor of Management John Sullivan (ret.) discussed the steps job seekers should take after a final-round job interview.

Though the final stages of the hiring process may be out of your hands, Sullivan says interviewees are anything but powerless. He lays out several “immediate actions after an interview that can provide a candidate with a competitive advantage,” including personally thanking interviewers, sending supporting material relevant to your conversations, finalizing your job acceptance criteria, and seeking positive distractions while awaiting results.
