Professor and Chair of Labor and Employment Studies John Logan discussed how union-busting law firms have worked to block union drives among employees not only with high-profile corporations like Google and Ikea, but also with nonprofits like the ACLU.
These efforts to stifle employee organizing is not new - union-busting firms have been around since the 1960s. "What's remarkable is that you find them everywhere, from high tech to progressive nonprofits," Logan said. "They are really found in almost every part of the economy."
