Professor John Logan Quoted in Boston Globe Story on DHL Labor Relations

Professor and Chair of Labor and Employment Studies John Logan discussed how DHL workers who were fired for not working overtime shifts are fighting back.

Delivery jobs are increasingly being performed by such independent contractors, Logan noted, focusing on the company's efforts to avoid maintaining full-time jobs with benefits for delivery drivers through decreased domestic delivery operations in recent years. “Amazon just kind of casts a shadow over everything,” Logan said.
