Professor John Logan Publishes Article on Labor Priorities for the Biden Administration

California Labor Federation - a labor advocacy organization focused on legislative, political, and economic action - published an article by Professor and Chair of Labor and Employment Studies John Logan detailing five labor priorities that will be crucial to the Biden Adminsitration.

Among many current challenges, President Biden will face several key issues on the labor front. Logan shares his top five priorities, including promoting unions, reversing the anti-worker decisions of the Trump labor board, revitalizing the the Department of Labor, and supporting workers’ rights at high-profile anti-union companies like Amazon, Google, and Uber.

"Along with the worst public health crisis in a century, the incoming Biden Administration faces the most challenging economy of the past several decades. The president also faces enormous labor challenges. But there’s reason for labor advocates to be cautiously optimistic," Logan says. "The early signs are all positive."
