Jennifer Chan (BS ’18, Accounting) named 2017 Elijah Watt Sells Award winner

Jennifer Chan, a graduate of San Francisco State University with a B.S. in accounting, received the highly selective Elijah Watt Sells award. The award is bestowed upon 58 CPA candidates who have obtained a cumulative average score above 95.50 across all four sections of the CPA Examination, passed all four sections of the Examination on their first attempt and completed testing in 2017. There were nearly 96,000 who took the CPA exam in 2017. Jennifer is employed with RSM US LLP in San Francisco, California.

Founded in 1923, the Elijah Watt Sells Award program annually recognizes those with top CPA Exam scores. Sells was one of the first CPAs in the U.S., and was also key to the founding of the AICPA as well as education programs within the profession.
