Professor Purser publishes The Myth of the Present Moment

Professor of Management Ron Purser published an article "The Myth of the Present Moment" in the academic journal Mindfulness (Springer Publishing).

His article examines common misconceptions in the contemporary and clincal mindfulness communities regarding how mindfulness is conceived as "being in the present moment, nonjudgmentally."  Drawing on both classic Buddhist sources, a 13th century Japanese Zen master, and other philosophers, Dr. Purser offers a much deeper and broader understanding of the temporarilty of suffering and stress.
