Dean Oubré to speak on prestigious panel at The Aspen Institute's 2014 Business Education Symposium

The Aspen Institute Business & Society Program

College of Business Dean Linda Oubré has been invited to speak on the opening panel of The Aspen Institute's prestigious 2014 Business Education Symposium.

On October 16, Dean Oubré will travel to the Ford Foundation in New York City to "exchange ideas about exceptional teaching that moves us closer to a vibrant economy that works for all."

During this opening panel discussion, Dean Oubré will be joined by the head of the Ford Foundation and the Dean of the Business School at Oxford.

This opening panel launches a two-day convention of approximately 60 deans and faculty that will emphasize "sourcing and employment practices—leveraging increased consumer demand for 'responsible' labor practices and supply chains, and employer demand for graduates with strong operational skills." Thanks to Dean Oubré's representation, SF State is one of the few public schools in California in this influential Aspen Institute consortium.
