The College of Business would like to congratulate Denise Kleinrichert, Ph.D. on her new role as the Director of the Center for Ethical and Sustainable Business (CESB).
Some of the tasks on her to-do list as the Director of CESB will be to assemble a new Advisory Board among the faculty membership, update its bylaws, introduce new programs and sponsorships, build relationships with the San Francisco business and nonprofit communities, engage in development activities, and guide the Center through its scheduled five-year review process.
Dr. K, as she is affectionately called by her students, has a great vision for CESB that incorporates the CoB’s existing vision: to apply “sustainability and ethical perspectives to our understanding of business practice, global leadership, innovation, the economy and society.” The Center will carry out this vision through industry-related best practices projects, increased industry leader presence on campus, industry funding for students’ CESB vision-related innovations, and development of learning communities that integrate students at all levels in industry practice-oriented projects.
