On Sunday, November 13, 2016, SF State Hospitality and Tourism Management students, Lauren Rojo, Nikki Banks, Cheyenne Noell, and Tracy Porras, competed in the Smith Travel Research Market Study International Competition at the Javits Center in New York City. The hard working students competed against 25 teams from around the globe, including a team from Australia, and they came in first place! The team received a $1,000 award and plaque.
