Speaker: Breaux Walker, Enterprise Account Executive, CloudFactory, and Business Development Consultant, HRJ AI International

Topic: International Business Opportunities in Climate Tech and Sustainability

Breaux Walker is an international tech executive with deep experience in cross-border transactions and investment. Spending much of his career in China, Walker worked on cross-border cleantech IPOs and mergers in the solar, wind, organic farming, and energy storage sectors. As head of JMP China, Walker led a joint venture with China Merchants Securities based in Shenzhen. As an advisor to China Greentech, he advised the leading Chinese green consulting firm on its strategic planning.

Earlier in his career, he was a business development executive at several Bay Area tech companies including USWeb and Mblox; He returned to the US after founding CBVCOM, one of the earliest software companies in Shanghai, China.

Since high school, Walker has worked for NGOs in the microlending and infrastructure sectors. As a college student, he worked for Socorro Intl, where he built sustainable farms in Nicaragua. In high school, he was with an NGO focused on food distribution in Southeast Asia and Africa.

Walker has a BA from Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT, is proficient in Spanish, and fluent in written and spoken Mandarin Chinese.
