Practitioners, researchers, students, alumni, and faculty with an interest in analytics and data science are all welcome to attend the monthly Data Analytics Talks - an intersection of data science and various business topics. 


Topic: Wine Analytics

Speaker: Burak Kazaz, Professor of Operations, Information & Technology at Haas School of Business

In this talk, Kazaz will present how wine analytics is used in wine supply chains for predictive and prescriptive analyses. The presentation will feature two short summaries, one describing how wine analytics is used by winemakers/producers (suppliers) and another highlighting how it is employed by distributors/importers (buyers), and will emphasize the impact of wine analytics on wine prices and its trade.
