Have you recently published a paper that has -or will- make a practical impact in addressing an ethical, environmental or social justice problem? If so, please apply for this award.
To qualify, you must:
- Have at least one of the authors as a currently active faculty member (FERPs included) in the LFCoB. Current CESB Advisory Board members will not be eligible.
- Been published or unconditionally accepted for publication in an appropriate peer-reviewed journal anytime from 2020 onward.

- The citation
- The abstract
- If not apparent from the abstract, a short (150 words or less) description of the findings or translation of them for those outside the discipline and how they make a practical impact in addressing an ethical, environmental, or social justice problem.
The deadline is April 23rd 2022. A panel of judges from the CESB Advisory Board representing different disciplines will review and rank the entries on the following considerations:
- Likelihood of the article to be read and disseminated
- Ability of the article’s key findings to be understood outside the discipline
- Potential or realized practical implications.
The award will be announced in Fall 2022.
