Position Description: 

The Marketing Intern helps create consistent, effective agency collateral and develops industry-leading marketing plans on new client acquisition. The intern will have completed at least the first year of a marketing-focused curriculum and marketing experience outside of the classroom is preferred.

The Marketing Intern will provide creative ideas to help achieve production goals, as well as, meet all administrative responsibilities needed to develop and implement marketing strategies. Interns will gain broad experience in marketing and sales, as well as, the following:
• Learn to use a significant range of media options and direct marketing tools
• Design, implement, and evaluate the overall effectiveness of a direct marketing campaign in terms of return-on-investment and other quantifiable measures
• Make tactical and strategic business recommendations based on proper interpretation of market research results
• Gain an understanding of B2B marketing tactics, as well as, the internal/external influences of the decision making process

Position Responsibilities: 

• Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns
• Perform market analysis and research on competition
• Support agency marketing efforts in daily administrative tasks
• Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (social media, direct mail, web, etc.)
• Conduct new client acquisition activities including outbound email marketing
• Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM)
• Help organize marketing events

Required Qualifications: 

• Strong desire to learn, along with professional drive
• Solid understanding of different marketing techniques
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Familiarity with marketing computer software and online analytics and Google AdWords
• Current enrollment in a related degree program
