Position Description: 

Totally redefining food pop culture and comfort food with its 100% plant based menu, VeganBurg is a San Francisco 100% plant-based burger joint with a full sensory experience. From seeing and feeling the raw industrial safari-themed interior design, smelling the aroma of your favorite comfort food, hearing the crackle of pan-grilled goodness, to tasting the perfect combination of our fiber-fueled vegan burger bun, farm fresh greens, GMO free patty, and gourmet sauce. We have fused the concept of a sustainable fast food and serving plant-based vegan burgers in San Francisco that are nutritious and great in taste. We are currently seeking a Social Media Intern to help us change the world one burger at a time!

Position Responsibilities: 
  • Assist in executing local and global social media strategy
  • Work with management to create and implement campaigns 
  • Create engaging blog and social media content
  • Provide support to our marketing team at live and online events
  • Monitor analytics with social media team to identify viable ideas 
  • Develop content calendars on a weekly and monthly basis 
  • Assist in the general distribution of press releases and media alerts
Required Qualifications: 
  • Open to all students currently pursuing an Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field 
  • Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills 
  • Knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and social media analytics 
  • Basic knowledge of Photoshop or other photo editing tools 
  • Commit to the entire academic year
  • Available for on-site weekly meetings
  • Ability to manage work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to thoughtfully receive supervision and feedback
