The student will earn 3 course credits of independent study course credit or hourly payment as determined by the university (usually about $18/hour). The student can choose either of these options.
For those Masters students who are interested in Product Design, Development, and Entrepreneurship, Professor Minu Kumar from the Department of Marketing is looking to hire an Intern who will help him with his projects. This position is particularly suitable for individuals who are considering earning a Ph.D. in business or business-related fields. Position Description: The intern will help gather data about graduate programs in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, develop databases, manage social media communications, relating to professor Kumar’s projects with the Product Development Management Association (PDMA) and the SF State College of Business (COB) Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program.
Tasks and Responsibilities (Approximately 10 hours a week): • A few hours of training related to PDMA and the COB Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program. • A large portion of the time will be spent researching Ph.D. programs in Innovation, Innovation Management, and Entrepreneurship across the world and compiling data about them. • Assist Professor Kumar with his work in the COB Innovation and Entrepreneurship fellows Program and related projects • Other miscellaneous tasks
• Good verbal and written communication skills • Robust and proven in developing databases based on online research • Skills using mailing platforms such as Mailchimp • High familiarity with Linkedin and other professional networking platforms • Skills using Qualtrics (Survey software) • Skills developing websites using platforms such as Squarespace/GoDaddy
