The artist collective Postcommodity is seeking to acquire the services of a paralegal
or legal researcher to collect, organize and synthesize information relevant to the 20
pending lawsuits involving the Millennium Tower, 301 Mission St, San Francisco, CA
The Millennium Tower is a 58-story, 645-foot-tall, and the tallest residential
building in San Francisco. In May 2016,residents were informed the main tower
was both sinking 17 inches and tilting 14 inches, resulting in several lawsuits
concerning repair costs and whether the tilt had been withheld from buyers.
The tower was developed by Mission Street Development LLC, an affiliate of
Millennium Partners, the project was designed by Handel Architects, engineered by
DeSimone Consulting Engineers and constructed by Webcor Builders. The primary
challenge: the resulting financial liability greatly exceeds value of the property.
