We import and distribute a quality line of both garden and woodworking hand tools. In other words, we sell products, physical items that the ultimate customer/user recognizes as the finest in the world. We wholesale to independent stores, ACE and Do-It-Best Hardware stores, and national accounts such as Home Depot, Terrain, Amazon, and Houzz. We are proud of the items we sell.
Your job would be to assist management in all areas of bookkeeping and financial aspects of a warehouse distribution business.
-Accounts Payable (including overseas accounts in non-dollar currencies)
-Strong grasp of double entry bookkeeping
We are a small business (established 1981) so there is much flexibility and opportunity to work in many areas of the company. If you have an interest in establishing your own business . . . this job will be a great base to build on.
Organizing and posting overhead and inventory invoices in Accounts Payable
Cash management and payment of bills in both US Dollars and other currencies in conjunction with management
Inventory control including reconciling of discrepancies
Timesheet preparation and payroll submission
Monitoring Accounts Receivable aging
Sales Tax preparation
Filing of support documents
Reconcile bank statements
Highly organized with a business acumen.
