Professor of Management featured on Radio New Zealand

Professor of Management Ronald Purser was featured on Radio New Zealand's show Saturday Morning to discuss his book and personal mindfulness philosophy. 

Purser explains to Kim Hill, host of Saturday Morning, how mindfulness has been used as a one-size-fits-all solution for stress in the workplace. However, he believes that the way corporate wellness initiatives have been co-opted from mindfulness practices render them ineffective. "In other words," he says, "stress is in many ways a public health issue, it's generated by structural and material conditions, but those aren't really examined within the mindfulness communities."
