Internship With Crow Valley Golf Club


Crow Valley Golf Club, has a new job opening (Food and Beverage Director) at the club. They are willing to take internships as part of the two years experience! Crow is looking for someone willing to be a sponge and learn everything about the club’s F&B program. They are looking for 4-6 summer interns this summer and would love to have students from San Francisco State University! They also offer housing as well.


Crow Valley Golf Club, established in 1969, has 450 member families and is regarded as Eastern Iowa’s Premier boutique club. Known as the best club in the Quad Cities Area, Crow Valley was home to the first Quad City Open (now known as the John Deere Classic) for three years. While golf is a primary focus for its members, Crow Valley is very much a country club offering robust programming year round.


Crow Valley Golf Club in Davenport, IA is seeking an enthusiastic Food and Beverage Director! This person will help oversee and manage all front-of-the-house food and beverage staff, service and operations and be the go-to person for the current Clubhouse Manager.


This individual will be the “Culture Czar” who will ensure a positive, energetic, respectful, friendly, fair and fun staff culture and holds all employees accountable to the Crow Valley standard. This person will be responsible for hiring, training and managing staff in the following club areas: family casual dining, upscale casual dining, bar and lounge, pool snack bar, banquets and parties, patio and dining, halfway house (snack shop on golf course). An individual with previous private club management experience and exceptional restaurant (ala carte) experience would be the ideal candidate. This hands-on professional will be responsible for ensuring an extraordinary member/guest experience and will oversee all front of the house employees in the food and beverage operation.
