You may qualify for a scholarship!

These scholarships are offered to students in the College of Business. We encourage you to pursue as many as possible. You will apply for these scholarships through Academic Works on the SF State Financial Aid website.

Bear Family Endowed Scholarship

The purpose of the Bear Family Endowed Scholarship is to award 3 students of $1,000 for 2016-17 to an undergraduate business student at any class level with financial need who is enrolled at least half time with a minimum GPA of 2.5.

Ethics & Compliance Certificate Scholarship

Four Ethics & Compliance Certificate scholarships of up to $4,000 each have been granted through the generous support of Kaiser Permanente towards unreimbursed tuition for postgraduate, graduate, MBA, MSA and MPA students at San Francisco State University. Legal Marketing Association Bay Area Eric Vargas Memorial Scholarship

The purpose of the Legal Marketing Association Bay Area Eric Vargas Memorial Scholarship is to award $1,000 for 2016-17 to an undergraduate business student at any class level with financial need who is enrolled at least half time with a minimum GPA of 2.5.

Leona Bridges Endowed Scholarship

The purpose of the Leona Bridges Endowed Scholarship is to award $1,000 for 2016-17 to an undergraduate or graduate business student who is economically/educationally disadvantaged and demonstrates academic excellence with financial need who is enrolled at least half time with a minimum GPA of 2.5 for undergraduate and 3.0 for graduate.

The Linda & Nathaniel Oubré Leadership Scholarship

The purpose of the Linda & Nathaniel Oubre Leadership Scholarship is to award $1,000 for 2016-17 to an undergraduate business student at any class level with financial need an demonstrates leadership on campus who is enroll full time with a minimum GPA of 2.5.

The Nikon Precision College of Business Scholarship

The purpose of the Nikon Precision College of Business Scholarship is to award $5,000 for 2016-17 to an undergraduate business student at Junior or Senior class level with financial need who is enrolled full time with a minimum GPA of 3.0.

The SF State College of Business Scholarship

The purpose of the SF State College of Business Scholarship is to award $1,000 for 2016-17 to an undergraduate business student at Junior or Senior class level with financial need who is enrolled full time with a minimum GPA of 2.75.

The Wallace Fund for Diversity Scholarship

The purpose of the Wallace Fund for Diversity Scholarship is to award 5 students of $3,000 each for 2016-17 to support educationally and economically disadvantaged students with financial need who is enrolled full time with a minimum GPA of 2.5.

Yumi E. Satow Vista Room Scholarship

The purpose of the Yumi E. Satow Vista Room Scholarship is to award $2,000 for Spring 2016 to a Hospitality & Tourism Management student at Junior or Senior class level who is enrolled full time with a minimum GPA of 2.5.

Accounting and Financial Women's Alliance

In order to promote Accounting and Finance as professions, the San Francisco and Bay Area Chapter of AFWA is pleased to be able to offer a scholarship of $1,000 to a third, fourth or fifth year undergraduate student or graduate student in accounting or finance. In addition to the scholarship the successful candidate will receive a free annual membership to AFWA and the support and mentorship of an active group of accounting professionals. In order to be considered for this award, which will be issued in June 2016, you need to complete the Scholarship Form (word doc) and return it to us by April 30, 2016. Financial Women of San Francisco Scholarships

Every year the Financial Women of San Francisco (FWSF) offer 10 scholarships to Bay Area women who are studying finance/accounting and have a passion for leadership and giving back to their communities. Undergraduate students receive $5,000 and graduate students receive $10,000. Beyond financial support, FWSF scholarship recipients have the opportunity to be mentored by FWSF members and attend career development and networking events. Recipients are asked to attend a luncheon in their honor in June of the current year and the Financial Woman of the Year luncheon in September of the same year.
