Purpose
The purpose of the Bear Family Endowed Scholarship is to award $1,000 per academic year ($500 per semester) to an undergraduate SF State College of Business major at any class level with financial need who is enrolled at least half time with a minimum GPA of 2.5. The scholarship is available on a competitive basis.
Qualifications
A potential candidate must meet these qualifications:
- undergraduate business major at any class level
- enrolled at least half time
- minimum GPA of 2.5
- demonstrate financial need—students are not required to apply for financial aid in order to be eligible for consideration. However, the selection committee takes financial need into account if information is provided in the application materials.
Amount of Award
$1,000 per academic year: $500 per semester
Scholarship winners may be photographed and/or interviewed.
Application Deadline
Applications must be received in BUS 112 by 5 p.m., Friday, March 29, 2013 to be considered.
